از زمان های قدیم تا کنون گفته شده زینت روی مو است اما بسیاری از افراد از این موهبت برخوردار نیستند که این عدم برخورداری می تواند به دلیل بیماری‏ها‎ی ارثی، استفاده از برخی داروها، سوانح و ... یا  به هر دلیلی ایجاد شود.عامل تغذیه در ریزش مو افراد مؤثر هستند, کمبود و فقر آهن، روی، کلسیم و فسفر ... از جمله عامل اصلی در ریزش موی افراد مختلف می‎باشد. در این مواقع با مصرف قرص‏ها‎ی مکمل و استفاده از رژیم غذایی مناسب می‎توان موهای از دست رفته را تا حدی برگرداند. در بعضی افراد اختلالات هورمونی باعث ریزش مو می شوند کم کاری تیروئید منجر به کاهش هورمون‏ها‎ی لازم در خون می شود و پر کاری آن نیز هورمون‏ها‎ی اضافی را وارد خون می‎کند که این عامل استقامت ریشه مو را کاهش و در نتیجه ریزش شدید رخ می‎دهد.

- کاشت مو به روش FIT:

کاشت مو روش های مختلفی انجام می شود یکی از این روش ها کاشت مو به روش FIT می باشد که در این روش جراحی انجام نمی شود و کاشت بصورت سرپایی صورت می‏گیرد. خوشبختانه برداشت موها نیز به صورت پراکنده انجام می‏شود و به همین دلیل نیازی به بخیه زدن وجود ندارد.نحوه کاشت موی سر به روش FITT به این صورت است که واحدهای فولیکولی، حاوی 1 تا 4 تار مو بوسیله پانچ ز پشت سر خارج و سپس در ناحیه طاسی کاشته می‏شوند در روش FIT خط بخیه در پشت سر ایجاد نمی شود و در محل برداشت هر یک از فولیکول‎ها، نقطه سفید کوچکی در پوست باقی می‏ماند که قابل مشاهده نیست,از اینرو افرادی که موهای خود را خیلی کوتاه نگه مناسب ترین روش می با شد.

- کاشت مو به روش FUT:

کاشت موی طبیعی به روش FUT شباهت زیادی به کاشت مو به روش FIT دارد ,در روش FUT متخصص کاشت مو برای کاشت موی طبیعی از تجهیزات و دستگاه های پیشرفته استفاده می کند.مدت زمانی که برای کاشت مو از طریق روش FUT تخمین زده شده، 5 ساعت است که در تمامی این مدت بیمار هوشیار می باشد و در تمامی مراحل کار را مشاهده کرده و حتی می تواند نسبت به میزان تراکم اظهار نظر کند. از مضایای کاشت مو به روش FUT نسبت به FIT کوتاه نکردن موهای کامل سر می باشد و تنها یک نوار باریک با عرض یک تا دو سانتیمتر و با طول 20 تا 30 سانتیمتر,مو از پشت سر بیمار برداشته می شود. سپس پزشک کاشت مو با استفاده از میکروسکوپ های اختصاصی، گرافت ها را پس از تقسیم نوار پوستی، تعیین می کند. هر یک از این گرافت ها که حاوی ریشه مو هستند، به طور مجزا از پوست خارج و در قسمت مورد نظر کاشته می شوند.

- کاشت مو به روش SUT:

در این روش جای برش و زخم بر جا نمی ماند و هیچ عارضه ای نیز برای بیمار ندارد. از امتیازات دیگر روش SUT، استفاده از دستگاه ها و تجهیزات اتوماتیک است که از طریق آنها تا 3 برابر روش های دیگر مو کاشته می شود. به طوری که متخصص کاشت مو می تواند تا میزان 14 هزار گرافیت مورد را تنها در یک جلسه بر روی قسمت مورد نظر پیوند دهد.کاشت مو به روش SUT، موها با خط رویش طبیعی و با تراکم بالا کاشته می شوند. این روش به گونه ای است که دیگران قادر به تشخیص موهای کاشته شده نیستند.ضمن اینکه درمان نیز به جلسات مکرر نیاز ندارد و در مدت کوتاهی کاشته می شود.

به طور کلی می توان گفت روش SUT به عنوان بهترین روش کاشت موی طبیعی در دنیا  می باشد که بدون نیاز به جراحی و بیهوشی انجام می شود.
